Long-time no blog!

So are there rules to how many pics you can post at one time?  If so, I think I'm about ready to break the rule.  Sorry for the long post.  These may not be in chronological order, but if I try to do that, it will never get posted:)

One of my favorite recent pics of the girls - taken on Mother's Day.

Hershey State Track Meet

Love this pic!  So happy.

One of the few pics I got of Aunt Beth while she was home;)
Macy's first playdate.   Seriously, could Ethan be any cuter?

Morgan is very into not only helping with "meals" but being creative with her Kids Cookbook.  How do you like them  hotdog/octopus?

The girls wanted to have a sleep over in the basement together.  I put Macy on the end so I could scoop her up before I went to bed so she would be upstairs for the night (in case she needed anything).  When I got downstairs and I saw how she had snuggled up to Brooke and had her arm around her, I didn't have the heart to move her.  They all slept like logs:)

Fishing in Presque Isle

Who knew you could fit that much kayaking into one trip?!

Picture of B taken with Abbey at Nick Stover's wedding.  It's amazing how similar their mannerisms are.  Matt and I call Brooke a mini Abbey.

Look who turned 3!

4th of July pool party - look at how high Jahnke threw Owen!  And check out the line  of "wanna be's" behind him.

Macy wasn't very fond of the loud fire crackers on Saturday night...
...or the clowns, mascots, and other parade characters on Sunday.  Her eyes were closed for most of the parade - LOL

Brooke on the other hand was pretty proud that not only was she in the parade, but she held her pee for 2.5 hours!

This was after her ballet recital in June.  We put all of the flowers she received into one bouquet.

Visiting at Deb's on Beth's visit home

LOVE the skirt with the cleats.
I know I emailed this to everyone, but don't want to lose the memory - what a fun day.

Was it something I said?!?

Its been quiet around this blog! I've seen emails with photos from all of you, but nothing here, which is totally fine - it means everyone has been busy with good stuff! I figured I'd still post though - sorry to bogart this place. :)

I have a few photos from random things lately that I have been meaning to post for a while. The first is the exciting arrival of the coat tree from Dad! I was so so so excited to get this HUGE box in the mail..... It was taller than Ashley!

Needed a drill to open it....
The tree in action...
Top
Bottom. So pretty! It matches the mahogany trim on the house perfectly! Awesome work Dad :)
We also headed up to Doug and Evelyn's a few weeks ago to help them chip away on some projects around their house (they have helped us so much around our place...).
Stacking rocks to build up the wall.
A Bobcat HAD to be rented....
We've been making some progress around our place:
Driveway done!
Tearing down the fence.
Ashley starting on the stone walkway to the front door...
Iron mountain flat stone

Starting to build the step
And we finally get to see what blooms in the yard!
Orange-ish azalea
Purple rhodie
Our neighbor's calla lillies spill into our yard so I snipped a few for in the house :)

Happy May Birthdays!

Happy birthday to all the May birthdays!

I made a cake today for Ashley's birthday, and in this photo are two of my favorite things and they were gifts FROM Deb. One is the cake stand and the other is the pitcher in the cabinet - I can't tell you how excited I was to put the pitcher there since it matched the stained glass window. So on YOUR birthday, thank YOU for the presents!
We had a nice weekend in Eugene last week - ate lunch on Saturday at our old favorite restaurant, walked around downtown, checked in for the run on Sunday. There was a Ducks football scrimmage so there were people everywhere and the weather was beautiful. We headed over to Tom and Tracy's in the afternoon to drink some of Tom's homebrew beer and hang out with their baby sheep.

We spent Saturday night there, and got up early for our half marathon on Sunday - we had great weather and a really pretty course. We finished on Hayward Field on campus and they announce your name as you finish on the track, which was a fun way to finish the 13th mile.
