Hard to believe she is 8 already. This year she asked if we could all go rock climbing as a family. Such an out of character request from her, but she was so excited. And...it was a blast. We went on Thursday night and had so much fun. Macy wasn't into it at first (is she really into anything at first?) but after an hour or so, she warmed up to it and started climbing.
We had a great day today celebrating her Bday. We were joined by Grammy and Charlie, Mike and Robin, Great Grandma Ginny, Chris and Tessa, and a surprise visit by Oliver and Abby and Kathleen:) It was very hot here, so it was a nice way to end the summer out by the pool. Now tomorrow, it's off to school:(

| Morgan was nuts! She jumped right in on the biggest walls with the experienced rock climbers. It was hilarious. The muscles on her are crazy. Several people commented that she's a natural and we should look into getting her involved. Not sure there's much more room on the schedule these days:) But we'd definitely go back again for fun. |

| She was VERY excited about her Nook. Now she can read, play games, buy apps, and try to keep up with Morgan on that darn ipad;) Grammy bought her a gift card so she can buy a cover and some movies, apps, etc. |
